Drumroll please... there’s a new sweet muffin recipe for you on the menu this week - tried and tested on the little tummies, and sure to be a crowd pleaser for you too! I like to keep the snacks as varied and healthy as possible, with as many nutrients as I can manage, and these little delights are no exception. Packed with carrots, apples and raisins, as well as some nutty protein, they are great snacks for older children but also in mini version can be a good baby-led weaning food (just make sure you chop the nuts finely). They also work well as a breakfast on the go. Another bonus (like all my recipes) is that you can swap ingredients in and out - leave the raisins out or swap them them for chopped dates or apricots; add seeds instead of nuts or use a mix of different nuts. It’s up to you!
