Goodnight 2016 & Thank You x
As 2016 draws to a close I thought I'd write a little round up of my favourite recipes since I started blogging. 2016 has been the start of new things for myself, Mr J and our Clean Little Tummies. We started the year by offering on a new house which then all went through in May, we've had new starts at school and at playgroup, first tastes and first steps and of course the start of Clean Little Tummies Happy Mummies. And what a fun start it has been! I've loved sharing photos and recipes and even better sharing your photos of my recipes.
So here is a quick reminder of a few of my favourites and yours from the start of Clean Little Tummies Happy Mummies.
Everyone loves an easy breakfast especially with Little Tummies to get organised and out in the morning and these just hit the spot. Some night before preparation really buys you some time in the morning and the flavours are just perfect and wholesome to keep you full until lunch. There'll be some new flavours coming in 2017, think apple and cinnamon, black cherry and raspberry and coconut!
It feels a long time ago now that I blogged this recipe, it is something I came to think of as a summer dish as we always ate it with a luscious green salad and some tomatoes from the garden but why can't it be a winter dinner too? Served with some oven baked veggies and it will make a delicious warm supper. If you didn't try it this year then make sure it's on your to do list for 2017!
If you're in need of a party snack for your New Year's Eve party then these Clean Little Chicken Dippers will do the trick. If like me you will be tucked up long before midnight (teething baby permitting) then be sure to pop this recipe into your meal plan for the first week of January! A real hit with the Clean Little Tummies, a fun dinner but with no nasties and lots of filling protein.
And Finally...we all need a go to after school snack and these are my absolute favourite. Wholesome Apple & Blackberry Autumn Cookies I shall be making a big batch this weekend ready for our return to school next week. Pop them in the freezer and grab them as you dash out on the school run or if you're running late in the morning they make a super oat filled satisfying breakfast in the car!
My Clean Little Tummies and I have had so much fun creating, making and baking recipes for you this, thank you to every reader and follower. We look forward to doing many, many more in 2017! Please do share your favourites and any requests for 2017 recipes are always happily received.
Wishing you all the healthiest, happiest New Year, see you all next year!
